I’ve spent the last five years studying the college recruiting process, talking to soccer players, college coaches, and tournament directors trying to figure out why some players get recruited and other really talented players do not.
So what have I learned? No shiny profile or highlight video or magical showcase event is going to get a player recruited. There are so many contributing factors to this broken system, but helping players define their recruiting goals, educating them with proven strategies, and connecting them to a technology platform that has real, genuine buy-in from college coaches significantly increases their chances of success. That’s what ProfilePasser offers, and it’s exciting to see it working for so many players. |
"ProfilePasser is a tool that gives soccer players a better opportunity to get recruited. I love that it teaches players and parents about the whole process, and that it doesn't make players believe that just filling out a profile will get them noticed. Instead, ProfilePasser teaches players how to represent themselves in the best light and gives them every opportunity to be seen. Then it's up to the players to perform on the field.” - Shannon Boxx World Cup Champion |
Getting recruited to play college soccer is similar to researching, applying, and interviewing for your first job. It’s not about getting exposure, it’s about building personal relationships with an intentional list of schools that will help players achieve their academic and athletic goals.
In our introductory-level course, players learn practical strategies to help them brand themselves, research colleges, and build relationships with college coaches through a combination of personal mentorship from professional players and an online written course. I love what I do because it helps youth players make their college soccer goals a reality, and I've been able to create high-quality, paying job opportunities that support NWSL players while they continue to chase their professional careers and inspire the next generation of young soccer players. |
